This place was great. When I was visiting, I stayed at the hotel up the street. I dropped off my laundry and picked it up the next day. It was even folded. Great price for a great service.

There is nothing Fancy about this Laundromat however it is perfectly functional and that is all you need. There are two larger washers and dryers, and about four of each in an average size. There is a dispensing machine when you can acquire washing detergent and coins for the machines. The operators of the laundromat live above so are likely available if you have any issues. You can also drop of your washing to have it washed for you at a fee. The big bonus of this laundromat is it’s location. Close to several cafes and a short walk to Beautiful Newcastle Beach. Where better to wait for you washing to be done.

Mandy at Uptown Laundry was incredibly prompt and helpful! The price was so reasonable and she did such a great job with our curtains. Can't recommend Uptown Laundry enough for their service and pricing!

Very friendly and helpful staff. I’m visiting from the US and didn’t have any coins for the machines. The staff allowed me to transfer money to them with my phone and they gave me the coins for the machines.

Good laundromat. Can use either dollar coins (note changer available) or pay by card over internet. Machines were clean. Took about 37 minutes on wash, and 20 minutes was enough for drying. Total spend $10 which I was happy with. You can buy powder here too, although I brought my own pods.

It’s $7 for washing and $1 / 5mins for drying. It’s clean and does the job.

Awesome launderette. There’s a friendly lady who can help with change but there’s also a web App that you can charge machines on. It’s a proper community launderette - one of the few left. 5 stars!

The owner/manager is very nice and helpful. The facilities always are always clean, I've been using their service for over a year. Haven't needed to change ever
